Can the directory path that will contain a user's email have periods (dots) in it? When we get the POP or IMAP server name and user name, we create the subdirectory replacing all periods (dot) with underscores. So the directory path is always created using underscores instead of periods.
The reason we replace dots with underscores is that in some systems will issue a security arror if you attempt to read a directory that contains a period.
For example: MessagePath: C:\ATTACHMENTS
Pophost: ATX.NL
Accountname: Patrick.Jones
The directory which will be created is: C:\ATTACHMENTS\ATX_NL\PATRICK_JONES
