What kind of ENCODING does Mail Objects support?
The MIME Object supports RFC-822 (plain messages), MIME conformant Base 64 and Quoted printable, Binhex (used for Macintosh files) as well as Uuencode and Uudecode. The MIME Object can be used to create and extract MIME encoded files as well as to create and extract MIME encoded email messages. The MIME Object can also be used to encode and decode files for use with applications other than SMTP, POP3 or IMAP4, such as NNTP or Newsreaders. This Object is a full implementation of the MIME protocol to the extent that it can even encode header fields, unlike its competitors.
