We changed the serial number on one system because we had installed a duplicate. Now although we have installed a license key that was not previously used the product still does not run
Check that you do have this registry entry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER, not HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Distinct\SerialNumber
if not copy the Serial number and keycode that you have under Software\WOW6432Node\Distinct\SerialNumber to this location (that is add the Serial number and keycode fields as you see them there.
